NSPCs alter the miRNA profile in ECs. miRNA profiling of the ECs and NSPCs co-cultured for 24 hours was performed using Affymetrix microarray analysis with miRNA array chips. A: Seven miRNAs were upregulated (red) and seventeen downregulated (blue) in the ECs co-cultured with NSPCs. B: Reciprocally, co-culture with ECs resulted in the upregulation of three (red) and downregulation of one (blue) miRNAs in the NSPCs.
