CSF-1Rhighcells show increased resistance to standard chemotherapy agents. Unenriched monolayer cells, CSF-1Rlow, or CSF-1Rhigh cells enriched from hemangiosarcoma or angiosarcoma cell lines were treated with increasing concentrations of doxorubicin for 72 hours. The relative viability was assessed using an MTS assay. The approximate EC50 values for each subpopulation are shown in parenthesis from representative experiments. All conditions were performed in triplicate and error bars represent standard deviation.
