Effect of extracellular nucleotides and platelet extract on VVEC migration. Growth arrested VVEC (1.0 × 105 cells/well) were plated on top of inserts in serum free DMEM. Cell migration was stimulated by adding platelet extracts (6.4 and 32 μg/ml), ATP (100 μM) or their combination to the lower transwell compartment.
