  1. Confluent EC monolayers were wounded and treated with the indicated compound (each at a concentration of 100 μM) for 24 hours before being fixed and inspected by fluorescence microscopy to quantitate the wound width. The initial width (at time 0) measured 1194 ± 7 μm. Data are means ± SD from three different experiments (each performed in duplicate). **p < 0.01; ns not significant (compared with medium).
